This package pairs the President Thomas FCC AM/FM CB radio with the President DIGIMIKE, a six-pin electret microphone with five-level Noise Reduction Circuit filtering. Six-pin electret compatibility
DIGIMIKE connects to the Thomas FCC’s front President six-pin microphone socket. Use the radio’s electret microphone setting. The included original radio microphone remains part of the package.
Set noise reduction for your voice
Choose among the DIGIMIKE’s five NRC levels and ask the receiving operator to help check voice clarity. The filtering acts on microphone audio sent for transmission; it does not add an external receive speaker. DIGIMIKE can also be used with the Thomas FCC’s VOX function.
Antenna system not included
Use a suitable existing CB antenna system or arrange an antenna, mount and coax for your vehicle. An external SWR meter and suitable jumper are needed to check that installation; they are not included.
Thomas FCC radio features
The radio provides 40-channel AM/FM operation, 12/24V vehicle compatibility, manual squelch and ASC, channel scan, a seven-color display, VOX, talkback and USB charging. Its original electret microphone uses a six-pin President connection. SSB is not included; match the channel and mode of the other radio.
