The President Jerry FCC combines 40-channel AM/FM CB communication with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and an included vehicle charging/antenna adapter. Use the supplied flexible antenna for handheld operation, or set up the radio with a separately purchased vehicle CB antenna when using the adapter.
Automatic Squelch Control, selectable receive-noise filters and seven NOAA weather channels make the Jerry a practical handheld for travel and outdoor activities. Its orange LCD, rotary volume control and dedicated channel keys keep everyday adjustments accessible.

The standard package includes vehicle charging, not a desktop charging dock or household AC adapter. An external vehicle CB antenna, its mounting equipment and any additional accessories are purchased separately.
Handheld and vehicle setup
For handheld use, attach the supplied S-20 antenna and charge the battery before operating. Match both the CB channel and AM/FM mode to the radio you want to talk with.
For vehicle use, remove the flexible antenna before connecting an external CB antenna through the vehicle adapter module. Use only one antenna configuration at a time: President warns that using both antennas together can damage the radio.
Check the external antenna system with an external SWR meter before transmitting and again after changing its installation. Never transmit without the appropriate antenna connected, and follow the manual's installation and RF-exposure instructions.
Optional accessory
The President ACMR407 lapel speaker microphone combines a speaker and push-to-talk microphone in an optional accessory compatible with the Jerry FCC. It is sold separately and is not part of the standard radio package.

Frequently asked questions
Does the President Jerry FCC support both AM and FM?
Yes. The Jerry FCC operates on all 40 CB channels in AM or FM. Both radios must use the same channel and modulation mode; this model does not provide single sideband.
What comes with the Jerry FCC?
The standard package includes the radio, S-20 flexible antenna, rechargeable lithium-ion battery, vehicle charging/antenna adapter module, fuse and owner's manual. A desktop charging dock, household AC adapter and external vehicle antenna are not included.
Can I use the Jerry in a vehicle?
Yes. The included vehicle adapter provides charging and an external CB antenna connection for a 12V vehicle installation. Remove the flexible antenna before using the external antenna connection, and check the installed antenna system's SWR before transmitting.
Can I leave both antennas connected?
No. President instructs users to remove the flexible antenna when connecting an external antenna through the vehicle adapter. Using both antennas together can damage the radio.
How much transmitter power does it have?
The Jerry FCC is rated at 4 watts carrier power and has selectable high and low transmit-power settings. The HI/LO key changes the setting.
Does it receive NOAA weather channels?
Yes. It receives seven NOAA weather channels and includes a weather-alert function. The Scan function can be used in either CB or weather mode.
How large and heavy is the radio?
President lists the Jerry FCC at 5.98 inches high, 2.62 inches wide and 1.46 inches deep. It weighs 0.67 lb, or 305 g, with the battery installed and without the antenna.
Which optional speaker microphone fits the Jerry FCC?
