Uniden PRO501TK handheld CB radio kit

The Uniden PRO501TK combines a 40-channel AM handheld CB radio with a magnetic-mount vehicle antenna and a flexible rubber antenna for portable use. Use the supplied DC power cable in your vehicle, or install nine AA batteries for operation away from vehicle power. Batteries are sold separately.

Channel Scan, Dual Watch and NOAA weather reception give you several ways to monitor activity. Separate volume and squelch controls, an illuminated display and instant channel 9/19 access keep the main controls within reach.

Vehicle setup and optional antenna connection

Install the magnetic antenna on a suitable steel vehicle roof and route its cable without pinching it in a door or sharply bending it. Follow the supplied antenna instructions and keep the antenna connected whenever transmitting.

The included flexible antenna provides a separate setup for handheld operation. If connecting a different CB antenna system with a PL-259 coax plug, the optional Workman 40-2610 BNC-to-SO239 adapter provides the connector transition; it is not part of this kit.
