Includes the whip itself, a universal aluminum antenna mounting bracket and stud (fits most rain gutters, mirror mounts, and roof channels), a 5-inch pot-belly barrel spring for wind flex and clearance protection, 18 feet of RG8X coax with PL-259 ends, and a tie-down strap. RG8X is the standard 50-ohm coax for mobile CB — lower loss than RG58 at 27 MHz, easier to route than heavier RG213. This kit gives you everything on the antenna side of the install; you provide the mounting location on the truck.

Install and Tuning Notes
The 102" whip needs a solid ground plane (metal cab roof, tool box, or headache rack works well) and enough vertical clearance for garage doors — many drivers add a spring-mounted quick-disconnect to lay the whip flat for parking. Once installed, SWR should always be verified at the antenna during install. The whip is tunable by adjusting the tip screw, but most 102" whips read correctly on the CB band with the tip fully seated. Don't forget to add the Pro tune and alignment option at checkout so that your radio is professionally bench-tuned for best performance per the manufacturer's service manual.
