This package combines the compact AM/FM 10-meter radio with a President DIGIMIKE and Driver Extreme DRX-9010 external speaker. The radio's factory UP/DOWN microphone remains included.

Two microphones, one connected at a time
The DIGIMIKE is an additional microphone, not a substitute for missing factory equipment. Its President six-pin connector fits the Ronald without a four-pin adapter. Use the radio's electret microphone setting and select an NRC level that reduces cab background noise while keeping your voice natural.
DIGIMIKE noise reduction operates on audio picked up by the microphone for transmission. It does not add digital receive-noise reduction to the radio.
Put received audio where you need it
The DRX-9010's wedge-shaped cabinet and included bracket let you position the speaker separately from the radio. Connect its supplied cable to the Ronald's external loudspeaker jack for received audio, rather than the PA connection. Keep the speaker and cable clear of vehicle controls.
Radio features and installation needs
The Ronald provides AM/FM, adjustable RF power, ASC and manual squelch, RF gain, microphone gain, talkback, noise filters, SWR metering and a seven-color display. Its chassis measures 4.92″ W × 6.89″ D × 1.77″ H, and it uses a nominal 12 V vehicle supply.
An antenna, antenna mount and antenna coax are not included in this audio combo. Use a suitable installed 10-meter antenna system and check SWR before normal operation. The Ronald is an amateur radio, not a license-free CB radio; transmitting requires the appropriate license and operating privileges.
