Setup requirements
Check the driving radio's output before connecting the amplifier. Stay within the manufacturer's mode-specific input limits; this is not a high-drive amplifier. Use suitable DC wiring, correct polarity and a properly matched antenna system for the operating frequency.
Keep the heatsink unobstructed and allow adequate ventilation. Do not transmit without a suitable antenna or dummy load connected, and never substitute a higher-rated fuse. Keep power wiring shorter than 118 inches and use 16 AWG or heavier wire, following RM Italy's wiring guidance. If installed in a vehicle, the vehicle must be stationary before use.
