The SR-A10 is a high-power 10 meter antenna designed after the U.S.A.F. Thunderbolt II. Silver-plated 6-gauge solid copper coil, high-Q design, stainless steel shafts and whip — engineered to handle serious wattage without breaking down.

DRX-3402 Driver Extreme Magnum heavy-duty mirror mount

An oversized double-slotted mirror mount built for larger antennas like the SR-A10. The Magnum uses .250" thick extruded aluminum, stainless steel Square-Lock hardware, and a proprietary DX239 heavy-duty stud — this is the mount to spec when you're running a full-size high-power antenna and don't want the mount to be the weak link.

Why these four pieces together

• The SR-A10 is sized for the CX46 TN1's power — an antenna rated for 10,000 watts easily handles a 200W-class radio without saturating, which means clean RF instead of a mismatched antenna that limits what the radio can do
• The DRX-3402 is sized for the SR-A10 — a lightweight or narrow mount will let a full-size 10 meter antenna wobble and eventually crack; the Magnum's oversized bracket keeps the whole antenna assembly rigid at highway speeds
• The DRX-1518 coax is sized for the run — 18 feet gives you enough length for a mirror-mount install on Class 8 trucks with clean cable routing behind the sleeper wall, and the double-shielded M213 construction keeps line loss down at 10 meter frequencies

Antenna install and SWR

The CX46 TN1 requires antenna SWR of 1.5:1 or lower. SWR is set at the antenna during installation — the antenna is tuned by adjusting the whip length or the coil tap until the standing-wave ratio is where it needs to be, measured with an SWR meter inline between radio and antenna. If you don't have SWR verified after installation, get it verified before you transmit at high power. High SWR will damage the CX46 TN1's finals and is not covered by our in-house warranty.

Licensing

The CX46 TN1 is a 10 meter amateur (ham) radio. Operating on the 10 meter band requires an active FCC amateur radio license (Technician class or higher). This install combo is not FCC Part 95 CB-certified.

Warranty

The Connex CX46 TN1 carries a 1 year manufacturer warranty. The Stryker SR-A10 carries a 2 year warranty. The DRX-3402 mount and DRX-1518 coax carry their standard manufacturer warranties against defects. CB Radio Supply also honors a 30-day in-house warranty against defects. Blown finals, pills, or voltage regulators caused by antenna system problems (high SWR) or installation issues are not covered by our in-house warranty but may be covered by Connex's manufacturer warranty on a case-by-case basis.
