What kind of mount is the DRX-3402?
It's a heavy-duty mirror mount — the standard OTR truck bracket that clamps to the west-coast mirror arm or side-mount post. The 2.5" wide .250" aluminum body is sized to carry the SR-A10's weight without flex. It is not a magnetic mount and not a through-hole roof mount; for those choices we sell the Stryker SR-A10MM (magnetic) or the SR-A10 trucker paired with a roof through-mount kit separately.
Will 18 ft of coax be enough for my truck?
18 ft is the standard OTR run — enough for most Class 8 trucks from a mirror-mounted antenna to a dash-mounted or overhead-mounted radio. For extended cab or crew cab runs longer than 18 ft, order a longer coax separately and use this package's coax as a spare, or contact us for a custom length.
Is the SR-A10 already tuned to my truck?
No antenna arrives tuned to a specific vehicle. SWR needs to be measured and the SR-A10 tip adjusted after install. If you want us to bench-align the radio itself before it ships, add the Pro tune and alignment option at checkout — antenna tuning still happens on the vehicle after install.
Does the CX33HPC1 need an amateur radio license?
Yes. The CX33HPC1 is a 10 meter amateur radio; operating on 10 meters in the US requires a valid FCC amateur radio license (Technician class or higher).
What if I want the speaker and mic upgrade instead?
Take the CX33HPC1 audio upgrade combo — swaps the antenna, mount, and coax for a DRX-9010 external speaker and DRX-6560 noise-cancelling mic.
