Mirror-mount fit and antenna height
Check bracket fit, mounting access, support strength, and the RF ground connection for your vehicle. A 102-inch whip and spring require a suitable mounting location; this bundle does not guarantee fit on every mirror assembly.
The 102-inch measurement describes the whip alone. Include the spring and vehicle mounting position when evaluating total height and overhead clearance.
Package distinction and setup
This version uses the DRX-3402 mount and DRX-1518 M213 coax as separate components. It does not include the RG8X installation kit or a tie-down.
The Johnny III USA has no built-in SWR meter. Check the completed antenna system using an external meter and suitable connection cable before regular operation; cable length by itself does not establish correct antenna adjustment.
Don't forget to add the Pro tune and alignment option at checkout so that your radio is professionally bench-tuned for best performance per the manufacturer's service manual.
