Stryker SR-A10 CB / 10 Meter Antenna: 49" Stainless-Steel Whip, 10,000W Power Handling

The Stryker SR-A10 is a mobile CB and 10 meter amateur radio antenna tunable for 26–30 MHz. It combines a 49-inch stainless-steel whip with an air-wound, 6-gauge solid copper coil plated in silver. Two 10-inch stainless-steel shafts are included: use one by itself for a 10-inch section below the coil, or join both for a 20-inch section below the coil. Stryker advertises 10,000-watt power-handling capability. The antenna attaches to a suitable mount through its standard 3/8-24 threaded shaft.

Backed by a 2-year Stryker warranty, the SR-A10 can be paired with the DRX-3402 mirror mount and DRX-1518 18-foot M213 coax for a compatible mirror-mount installation. The mount and coax are sold separately; confirm mount fit and cable routing for your vehicle.

Antenna specs

  • Whip length: 49 inches stainless steel
  • Coil: 6-gauge, air-wound solid copper, 100% silver plated
  • Power handling: Manufacturer-advertised 10,000 watts
  • Tunable frequency range: 26–30 MHz; tune and check SWR for your intended operating frequencies
  • Antenna attachment: Standard 3/8-24 threaded shaft; coax connects to the mount’s antenna stud
  • Included shafts: Two 10-inch stainless-steel shafts; use one individually or join both for a 20-inch shaft configuration below the coil
  • Coil housing: Double-wall high-impact Mobay plastic
  • Warranty: 2 years
  • Sold: Bulk (no retail packaging)

Two included shafts: 10-inch or 20-inch setup

The SR-A10 includes two stainless-steel shafts, each 10 inches long. They give you two ways to position the coil above the antenna mount:

  • Use one shaft: Install either 10-inch shaft by itself for a shorter, 10-inch section between the mount and coil.
  • Join both shafts: Connect the two 10-inch shafts together for a 20-inch section between the mount and coil. This raises the coil compared with the single-shaft setup.

The 10-inch and 20-inch measurements describe the shaft length below the coil, not the antenna’s total height. The coil assembly and the separate 49-inch whip also contribute to the overall antenna height.

Choose your shaft configuration for the mounting location and available clearance before tuning. Changing between one and two shafts changes the antenna setup: check SWR again and adjust according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not assume the same whip setting will work for both configurations or trim a fixed amount without measurements.

Choose your mounting style

  • Threaded SR-A10: This antenna uses a 3/8-24 threaded shaft and requires a compatible mount and coax, sold separately.
  • Magnetic-mount option: The Stryker SR-A10MM is the separate magnetic-mount model. Choose the version that suits your vehicle and installation.

Truck fitment

Choose a mount that fits your vehicle and supports the antenna. A model name alone does not establish bracket fit: check the model year, mirror or mounting location, available clearance and grounding before ordering.

The DRX-3402 provides a 3/8-24 antenna attachment and an SO-239 coax connection through its included DX239 stud. The coax plugs into the stud, while the SR-A10 threads onto the top of it. The DRX-3402 is not a universal fit for every truck mirror.

For a Kenworth installation, use our Kenworth T680 CB antenna install guide as a starting point and confirm the correct bracket for your specific truck. A suitable mounting location and an SWR check are required for either a threaded or magnetic-mount installation.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I buy a Stryker SR-A10 antenna?

You can buy the Stryker SR-A10 directly from CB Radio Supply. This listing is for the threaded antenna; contact us for help choosing a compatible mount and coax.

What is the Stryker SR-A10 antenna?

The SR-A10 is a mobile CB and 10 meter amateur radio antenna from Stryker Radios. It has a 49-inch stainless-steel whip, two included 10-inch stainless-steel shafts, silver-plated 6-gauge copper coil and double-wall Mobay plastic coil cover. Use one shaft for a 10-inch section below the coil or join both for 20 inches below the coil. It uses a 3/8-24 threaded antenna attachment and has a manufacturer-advertised 10,000-watt power-handling capability.

Is the Stryker SR-A10 a CB antenna or a 10 meter antenna?

Both. Stryker lists a tunable range of 26–30 MHz. Tune the installed antenna for your intended operating frequencies and verify SWR across the channels or frequencies you plan to use; do not assume one adjustment gives the same match across the entire range.

Does the SR-A10 include a mount and coax?

No. The antenna includes two 10-inch stainless-steel shafts that can be used individually or connected together for a 20-inch section below the coil; a mount and coax are sold separately. Choose a compatible mount, such as the DRX-3402 where it fits, and suitable coax such as the DRX-1518 18-foot M213. If you want a magnetic-mount antenna instead, see the separate SR-A10MM listing.

How long are the included shafts, and can I use them separately?

Two stainless-steel shafts are included, each 10 inches long. Use either shaft individually for a 10-inch section below the coil, or connect both for a 20-inch section below the coil. These are shaft lengths, not total antenna heights; the coil assembly and separate 49-inch whip add to the overall height. Choose the shaft configuration before tuning, and recheck SWR whenever you change it.

Do I need to tune the SR-A10 after install?

Yes. Check SWR after the antenna is mounted, grounded and connected. Use low transmitter power for testing, compare readings across the intended operating channels or frequencies, and follow the manufacturer’s tuning instructions for your shaft configuration. Do not cut the whip by a fixed amount without measurements. See our CB antenna tuning guide for additional guidance.

Can I use the SR-A10 with a linear amplifier?

Stryker advertises 10,000-watt power-handling capability for the SR-A10. The complete installation must use appropriately rated coax, connectors and mounting hardware, and antenna SWR must be checked before high-power operation. An antenna rating does not authorize otherwise prohibited transmitter or amplifier operation.

What's the warranty on the SR-A10?

Stryker lists a 2-year warranty for the SR-A10. Keep your proof of purchase and follow Stryker’s warranty terms and service instructions.

Does the SR-A10 come with a magnet mount option?

Yes. The SR-A10MM is Stryker’s separate magnetic-mount model. A magnetic base is not included with this threaded SR-A10 listing.

Does the SR-A10 come in a roof-mount version?

This SR-A10 attaches to a suitable mount through a 3/8-24 threaded shaft. For a roof or lip installation, choose a compatible mount that supports the antenna and is suitable for your vehicle; the antenna is not a complete roof-mount kit. Browse our antenna mounts collection or contact us for help.

How long does the SR-A10 need to be for CB versus 10 meter?

There is no universal trim amount for switching between CB and 10 meter use. Choose the single 10-inch shaft or joined 20-inch shaft configuration first. The shaft configuration, mounting location and desired operating frequencies determine the required tuning. Measure SWR in the completed installation and follow the manufacturer’s instructions before shortening the whip; do not assume a guaranteed match on a second band.
