Galaxy DX 2547 Base Station CB Radio
The Galaxy DX 2547 is a 40-channel AM/SSB CB base station designed for multi-purpose fixed-location communications. The SSB transceiver runs from standard 120V AC power at home or in the shop, and drops onto 12V DC when you need to run it from a battery or remote power supply. It's a long-time favorite among base-station operators and CB hobbyists who want the extra range and audio clarity of Single Sideband from a desktop radio.
Galaxy didn't skimp on features. A 6-digit frequency counter, front-panel microphone and headphone jacks, and a built-in SWR meter with indicator give you real control from the desk. Additional features include Talkback, Roger Beep, Noise Reduction, and Public Address capability.
