Installation and Antenna Setup
Check the available mounting space, allowing clearance for the front microphone plug, rear connections and wiring. Use the specified fused DC power connection and a compatible CB antenna system; an antenna and coax are not included with the main radio.
After mounting and connecting the antenna, calibrate the built-in meter and check SWR before transmitting. An elevated SWR reading should be corrected before continued operation.
For a mirror-mount installation, consider the Stryker SR-A10 antenna, Driver Extreme DRX-3402 mount and DRX-1518 18-foot coax. For received audio, add the DRX-9010 external speaker.
