DRX-3402 Heavy-Duty Antenna Mirror Mount

An extra-large 2.5"-wide mount machined from .250" thick aircraft-quality extruded aluminum, sized for larger antennas like the SR-A10. Uses Driver Extreme's proprietary Square-Lock hardware: stainless-steel carriage bolts with an extended square shank seat completely into the mount bracket, so you can install with only one wrench and the bolt never spins. Stainless K-Lock nuts have encapsulated lock washers that don't come loose during install. The DX239 heavy-duty stud with stainless steel center in a 1" plated-aluminum hex base gives you the mechanical strength this antenna deserves.

DRX-1518 18-Foot Premium M213 Coax Cable

18 feet of 50-ohm M213 Quantum-Flex double-shielded coax with PL-259 ends. Tinned copper braided shield at 96% coverage plus a free-floating aluminum foil shield at 100% coverage — meaning almost no RF energy leaks out on the way to the antenna, and almost no ambient noise leaks in. Install and Tuning Notes

The SR-A10 tunes at 27 MHz by adjusting the tip section — the standard approach is to install the antenna in its permanent location, then trim the tip whip down in small increments (1/4" at a time) while checking SWR at the antenna until you hit a null. SWR should always be verified at the antenna during install, never on the radio side. The mirror mount needs a solid metallic contact point on the truck for a proper RF ground plane. Don't forget to add the Pro tune and alignment option at checkout so that your radio is professionally bench-tuned for best performance per the manufacturer's service manual.

Radio License Note

The Cobra 29 LTD Classic is a Citizens Band (CB) radio operating on 27 MHz. It is license-free in the United States — anyone can transmit legally without an FCC exam. This differs from 10-meter amateur radios, which require an amateur radio operator license from the FCC. The SR-A10 antenna is a dual-service antenna that will work on both CB and 10-meter equipment, so it can move with you if you eventually upgrade to a licensed 10-meter rig.
