The Ronald's chassis measures 4.92″ W × 6.89″ D × 1.77″ H. It provides AM/FM operation, manual squelch and ASC, RF gain, microphone gain, talkback, noise filters, a seven-color display and SWR metering. President lists 13 W AM carrier, 50 W AM PEP and 35 W FM.
Check the mount and antenna before transmitting
Confirm that the DRX-3402 fits your vehicle's mounting location and that the installation provides a suitable RF ground. Route the coax without pinching it or creating sharp bends. Adjust the SR-A10 for the amateur frequencies you intend to use and check SWR after installation.
This is a mirror-mount package, not a magnetic-mount kit. Vehicle-specific brackets, bonding straps or power-wiring extensions may be needed for your installation. The radio uses a nominal 12 V supply, not direct 24 V power.
