SuperStar SS148PRO Truck Install Combo with SR-A10 Antenna
SuperStar SS148PRO Truck Install Combo
This package brings together the SS148PRO AM 10-meter radio, Stryker SR-A10 antenna, Driver Extreme DRX-3402 mirror mount and DRX-1518 18-foot M213 coax. It is intended for a compatible mirror-mount installation where you need the radio and the main antenna-system components together.
The SS148PRO has a manufacturer-advertised 300W PEP output rating and provides a large SWR/MOD/PWR meter, high-SWR alert, NB/ANL filtering, echo and variable talkback. The included Ranger noise-cancelling microphone connects to the radio's 4-pin input.

Antenna-System Details
The SR-A10 trucker-style antenna uses a 49-inch stainless-steel whip and a standard 3/8-24 threaded shaft. Its published 26–30 MHz specification covers the SS148PRO's 10-meter application, with antenna adjustment and SWR verification required for the frequencies you use.
The DRX-3402 provides a 2.50-inch-wide aluminum mounting platform with stainless-steel hardware and a heavy-duty antenna stud. The DRX-1518 uses M213 Quantum-Flex coax with braided and foil shielding. Check the actual mounting surface and cable route before choosing this package; it is not a universal fit guarantee for every truck mirror.
Installation Checklist
The SS148PRO's manufacturer-listed dimensions are 7⅞″ wide × 11⅛″ deep × 3¼″ high. These nominal radio dimensions do not establish the installation clearance needed for controls, connectors, cables and heat-sink ventilation.
- Confirm that the mirror arm or mounting surface can securely accept the bracket and antenna.
- Check antenna clearance and the path for the 18-foot feed line before mounting.
- Provide a properly fused 13.8V DC power installation suited to the radio.
- Leave space around the radio's bottom heat sink and rear connectors.
- Establish the required antenna grounding and bonding, then check and adjust SWR after installation.
This is an equipment package, not an installed or vehicle-tuned antenna system. The radio's SWR meter does not remove the need to adjust the antenna on the vehicle.
Already have the antenna system? See the SS148PRO audio combo with DRX-9010 speaker and DRX-6560 microphone, or choose the standalone SS148PRO radio.
Pro Tune and Alignment is available as an optional add-on at checkout.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in the SS148PRO truck install combo?
The package includes the SS148PRO radio with its Ranger microphone, a Stryker SR-A10 antenna, a DRX-3402 mirror mount and an 18-foot DRX-1518 M213 coax cable.
Is this the magnetic-mount SR-A10 antenna?
No. This combo uses the trucker-style SR-A10 with a separate DRX-3402 mirror mount. It is not the SR-A10MM magnetic-mount model.
Will the mirror mount fit every truck?
No universal fit is promised. Check your mirror-arm shape, mounting clearance and antenna support before ordering, especially if the vehicle uses enclosed or unusually shaped mirror assemblies.
Do I need to tune the antenna after installation?
Yes. Antenna adjustment must be checked on the actual vehicle for the frequencies you intend to use. Verify grounding, connectors and coax routing as part of the SWR check.
Does this combo include the DRX-6560 microphone or DRX-9010 speaker?
No. Those Driver Extreme audio accessories are in the separate SS148PRO audio combo. This package includes the radio's Ranger microphone and the listed antenna-system components.
Does the 18-foot coax eliminate the need for antenna adjustment?
No. Coax connects the radio to the antenna; its supplied length is not a substitute for a correctly mounted and adjusted antenna system. Choose a safe cable route and verify SWR after installation.
