Allow extra room for the mounting cradle, microphone connector and rear cables. The Bill III requires a suitable 12V supply; do not connect it directly to a 24V electrical system.
Included equipment and installation
The radio includes its factory electret microphone, mounting cradle, quick-fixation clip, screws and manual. An antenna, antenna coax, external speaker and SWR test equipment are not included with the radio-only listing.
Connect a suitable CB antenna before transmitting. Use an external CB SWR meter and suitable jumper to check the completed installation and adjust the antenna as required. The radio's digital S-meter is not an SWR meter.
Microphones and external audio
Use compatible six-pin President wiring and the correct electret or dynamic microphone setting. A standard four-pin Cobra-style microphone does not plug directly into this radio. A standard CB external speaker connects to the rear external-speaker jack.

Does the Bill III FCC operate on both AM and FM?
Yes. It provides AM and FM on the 40 CB channels. Match the channel and mode used by the other radio. It does not provide USB or LSB single-sideband modes.
What are the Bill III P-Channels?
President supplies five pre-configured P-Channel presets for targeted group communication. Use matching settings with the other radios in your group.
Does the Bill III have transmit and receive noise reduction?

Yes. Both are compatible President six-pin accessories. DIGIMIKE connects by cable; the BT MIKE kit uses its radio-side dongle. The factory microphone remains included with the radio.
