Antenna and accessory options
The radio needs a properly installed CB antenna system before transmitting. AM and FM use the same CB band, so switching modes does not require a separate antenna.

Yes. This is the new AM/FM Cobra 29 LTD NW, model CCBP29LTNW, with AM and FM operation on all 40 CB channels.
What does NightWatch illuminate?
NightWatch illuminates the control lettering on the faceplate. The dimmer adjusts the faceplate, signal meter and channel-display brightness.
Can it communicate with an AM-only CB radio?
Yes. Select AM and the same channel as the other radio. For FM conversations, both radios must support and use FM on the same channel.
Does FM need a different CB antenna?
No. AM and FM use the same CB frequency band. Use a suitable CB antenna system and check its SWR after installation.
What microphone connection does it use?
It uses a standard Cobra-wired four-pin dynamic microphone connection. The factory microphone is included.
Can I connect an external speaker?
Yes. A standard CB external speaker can be connected to the radio's external-speaker output. Use the separate PA output only for a PA speaker.
Is talkback included as a factory feature?
No. Talkback is not included as a factory feature on this NightWatch model. Any separately selected modification is additional to the standard radio.
Will it fit my truck's radio opening?
