Install and tuning

SWR should be verified at antenna installation. The SR-A10 tunes with a threaded tip that slides on the 49″ stainless whip — trim in small increments while checking SWR across channels 1, 20, and 40 with an inline meter or antenna analyzer. Once you have a clean match (1.1:1 to 1.3:1 is a realistic real-world target on a heavy pickup mirror mount), lock the tip and route the DRX-1518 cleanly away from ignition wiring, alternator leads, and spark plug wires. Ground the mirror bracket to bare metal — a poor ground kills SWR even with the antenna cut correctly.

The DRX-3402 is designed for exactly this class of antenna. If you're mounting to a plastic-clad mirror stem or a hollow bracket, add a bonding strap between the mount and vehicle chassis to give the SR-A10's coil a proper ground plane reference.

Licensing

CB Radio Supply does not offer an in-house warranty on the TRE Top One, and all Top One sales are final. The Stryker SR-A10 antenna carries a 2-year factory warranty. The DRX-3402 mount and DRX-1518 coax are covered by Driver Extreme's manufacturer warranty.
