After a professional peak & tune, real-world PEP typically comes in modestly above the factory bench spec, though individual units vary.

What antenna do I need?

An antenna resonant on the 10-meter band (28–29 MHz). CB whips cut for 27 MHz can be used with an antenna tuner or a dual-band design, but you will see poor SWR at 28.400 without one. Is the microphone jack 4-pin or 6-pin?
